Evan Hoyles
Principal Architect, M.Arch, BEDS, NLAA
Evan is a registered architect in Newfoundland & Labrador with over nine years of professional experience. A native of Newfoundland, he has a keen interest in contemporary residential design thats rooted in place.
Prior to founding Hoyles Architecture, Evan served as project architect with Nicholas Fudge Architects and East Coast Modern where he contrubuted to several custom residences across Atlantic Canada.
Evan recieved a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies and Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University. He is committed to improving the built environment and currently sits on the board of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Architects.

Matthew Benteau
Designer, BEDS, BCD
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies and a Bachelor of Community Design from Dalhousie University's School of Architecture and Planning.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Matthew looks forward to exploring Newfoundland and his family ties to Lord's Cove on the Burin Peninsula.
Matthew is dedicated to designing meaningful spaces by seamlessly integrating contemporary architecture with traditional knowledge and techniques.

Bowie
Lead Barkitect
Originally from Saint Lucia, Bowie joined the firm in 2022. While still acclimatizing to Newfoundland’s unpredictable weather, he has become an invaluable member of the team. Bowie loves hiking the East Coast Trail and sailing in Conception Bay.
